Chris Woakes & Nasser Hussain & MBN

For their Pride of St George Sporting Lunch on 22nd April 2022, MBN Events required sporting stars to act as keynote speakers. The event celebrated all that is good about British sport, and we supplied the event with England cricket stars Chris Woakes and Nasser Hussain.

Chris has represented England internationally in all formats of the game, playing 45 Test matches and 106 ODIs. Still regularly playing for his country, Chris offered an insight into the life of a modern professional cricketer.

A former England cricket captain, Nasser Hussain is a former top-order batsman who played 96 Test matches and 88 ODIs for his country. Nowadays, he works as one of Sky Sport’s most well-respected commentators and pundits and provided a selection of fascinating anecdotes from his accomplished career.

Taking place at the Brewery in London, Chris and Nasser were joined at the event by former England rugby international Jeremy Guscott and boxing icon Ricky Hatton. In front of a packed-out audience, the group answered a whole host of questions from their respective careers.
