John Barnes MBE & Jefferies International Ltd

In October, Evolve partnered former England and Liverpool legend, John Barnes MBE, with Jefferies International Ltd. For their Black History Month event.

The event, Black History Month Fireside Chat with John Barnes, was held in London and John was an excellent addition. Having suffered horrific racial abuse from supporters throughout his career, John was able to share his experiences, recalling the vile abuse he suffered as well as discussing the progress that has been made since. He was the perfect person to provide insights into the issue and the importance of it in today’s society, with the audience engaged throughout.
