In May, Evolve paired one of the world’s most famous rugby union referees and influential LGBT personality in sport, Nigel Owens MBE, with the Mears Group PLC for their Annual Awards Dinner.
The dinner was held at the Belfry Hotel & Resort and Nigel delivered a speech to guests at the event, sharing insights from his life and career as one of rugby’s most respected referees. His talk focused on personal experiences, decision-making at the highest level, and the values of leadership, fairness and accountability. Alongside his speech, Nigel also took part in presenting awards during the evening, engaging directly with attendees and helping to celebrate outstanding achievements across Mears Group PLC.
