Sir Chris Hoy

Sir Chris Hoy is the most successful track cyclist of all time. He has won 17 global titles in four cycling disciplines, and has six Olympic golds, 11 World Championship titles and two Commonwealth Games victories to his name.

Chris is one of the key figures in the sport’s rise in popularity. His success has made headlines and motivated others to take up the sport and see what they can achieve. Chris was inspired to become a professional cyclist when he was six years old and watching the film E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. He went onto join his first cycling club at age 14, and quickly became one of the best cyclists for his age. Chris’ first Olympic experience was in 2000 in Sydney where he won a silver medal. At the following three consecutive Olympic games, he won six gold medals in the 1km time trial, Sprint and Keirin events. There is only one British athlete in history who has won more Olympic medals than Chris.

Following his retirement from the professional sport, Chris began a career in motorsport. He joined the British GT championship in 2014 and in 2016, took part in the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans. When hired as a speaker, Chris can discuss his careers in both sports, sharing his tales of passion and success. 

Sir Jason Kenny

Sir Jason Kenny has won seven gold medals and two silver medals, making him Great Britain’s greatest-ever Olympian. He has finished on the Olympic podium in every men’s sprint event since Beijing 2008.

Jason has won a whole host of honours for his successful sporting career. This includes, in 2021, being named in the New Year Honours List and receiving his title of ‘Sir’ in May 2022 at Windsor Castle. Following his retirement from competitively racing in the sport, Jason has become the Podium Men’s Sprint Coach ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. He has also created his own range of cycling kits with his kit partner, HUUB, and is a proud start-up investor in the newly engineered bike brand REAP.

Jason has also published a book, The Inside Track, with his wife and fellow Olympic cyclist, Dame Laura Kenny. Alongside his impressive cycling career, in his speeches, Jason can talk about winning mindsets, dealing with pressure, and being your own driving force.

Dame Laura Kenny

Dame Laura Kenny is Britain’s greatest-ever female Olympian. After winning her fifth gold medal during the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, she became the first British woman to win gold at three consecutive Olympic Games.

Laura has been awarded numerous accolades for her remarkably successful cycling career, including the Harper’s Bazaar’s ‘Sporting Icons’ award. In 2021, she was also named in the 2021 New Year Honours List and received her Dame title in May 2022. This was alongside her husband and fellow professional cyclist, Sir Jason Kenny. Laura’s sporting success has gained her a long-standing position as an Adidas athlete, and she has also published a book titled The Inside Track with husband, Jason. Laura and Jason had their first child, Albie, in 2017 and are expecting their second shortly.

Geraint Thomas OBE

Geraint Thomas is an Olympic gold medallist; the first Welshman to win the Tour de France, and the first Briton to conquer its iconic Alpe d’Huez stage.

When Geraint placed third at the 2022 Tour de France, he became just the ninth person in the sport’s history to finish on all three steps of the race’s podium. Additionally, he has won two Olympic gold medals and three World Championships, and in 2018, also won BBC Sports Personality of the Year. Outside of his sporting achievements, Geraint has published three books, filmed a BBC documentary, and now hosts two podcasts, each with its own Zwift ride teams. He also founded The Geraint Thomas Trust in 2021, helping to get young children into cycling. Geraint raised over £375,000 for the NHS during the height of Covid-19, by cycling 12 hours a day for three days.

With a clear passion set of life, Geraint makes for the perfect cycling speaker. His legendary career precedes him, and he can not only discuss his career highs in his speaking, but also the hard work and determination which he required to mount such heights.

Chris Froome OBE

Chris Froome is the greatest professional road cyclist of his generation. He has won the historic Tour de France four times; the Vuelta a España twice; the Giro d’Italia; and two Olympic gold medals for Great Britain.

Chris achieved gold medals at both the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic Games. In 2017, he also won both his fourth Tour de France and the Vuelta a España, shortly followed by his victory in the Giro d’Italia in 2018. This made him the first cyclist to achieve a Grand Tour double in a decade and the first to hold all three titles since 1983. Chris rode for Team Sky/INEOS for a ten-year period before joining Israel Start-Up Nation in 2021. He continues to cycle professionally and is currently pursuing a record-breaking fifth Tour de France title. Outside of cycling, he is a passionate conservationist and raises money and awareness for rhino conservation. He is also an ambassador for United for Wildlife, which is part of The Royal Foundation, and aims to protect endangered animals.
