Eddie ‘the Eagle’ Edwards & We are Wakefield

In July, Evolve booked legendary British ski jumper and Olympian, Eddie ‘the Eagle’ Edwards for We are Wakefield’s West Yorkshire Conference.

The conference was held at Pontefract Racecourse and Eddie attended and took part in an interview focussing on his life and career. As the man who in 1988 became the first competitor to represent Great Britain in Olympic ski jumping Eddie’s story is like no other. Sharing tales of his career and experiences, paired with his charismatic personality and natural humour, Eddie engaged attendees at the conference with his story throughout.
