The event took place virtually and Katie delivered a speech and Q&A session based on her long walk to womanhood. As an openly trans woman herself, Katie was an ideal fit for the event as she shared the challenges she faced in adversity and the struggles she combatted to be comfortable and confident in herself in society. She answered audience questions with compelling passion and heartfelt truths.
