The event, Lockton International Men’s Day, took place at The St Botolph Building in London and Mark delivered a speech, followed by a Q&A, and then hosted a panel discussion.
Having represented Great Britain in the Olympics and World Championships, and swam for England in the Commonwealth Games, Mark’s profile is second-to-none. In 2017, he came out as gay and regularly discusses his battle with his own sexuality, making him a brilliant fit for the International Men’s Day event. Mark shared his first-hand experiences and struggles with mental health due to his sexuality and how he overcame adversity to be where he is today.
