Michael Vaughan & MBN

For their Captain’s Lunch event on 17th June 2022, MBN Events were on the lookout for former sporting captains to speak at the event. An event that celebrated British sport and introduced attendees to some of the country’s most successful sporting personalities, Evolve helped MBN book former England cricket captain Michael Vaughan.

Michael played 82 Test matches for his country and captained England to that historic Ashes victory over Australia in 2005. This success marked the first time England had won the series since the 1980s and helped the country fall in love with the sport again. These experiences made him the perfect choice of speaker for this event.

Taking place at The Brewery in London, Michael was joined at the event by fellow England cricket captain Alastair Cook and England rugby legends Mike Tindall and Martin Johnson. Sky Sports broadcaster Alex Payne hosted the event, and coordinated the afternoon’s Q&As where Michael and his fellow speakers answered questions about their sparkling careers.
