Growing up in Edinburgh, Chris was inspired to become a professional cyclist when watching the film E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial as a six-year-old. Chris’ first taste of the Olympics came in Sydney in 2000 and while he only won a silver medal it was a sign of things to come.
