With five European Tour victories to his name, Costantino Rocca is an Italian golfer who has had a hugely successful career at the height of golf. Spending over 30 years in the sport, in that time Costantino has become extremely experienced and is now able to share these experiences with people across the country. Born in the city of Bergamo, his golf career began as a caddie before turning pro in 1981. In the early 1980s, he struggled to make it onto the European Tour, regularly having to visit Qualifying School. Despite these early setbacks, he didn’t give up and made major strides at the start of the 1990s. In 1993, his first European Tour victory was achieved at the Open de Lyon. A sure sign of things to come, he went on to earn five victories on the Tour before winning twice on the Senior Tour (now known as the Legends Tour) after his 50th birthday. 1995 was a good year for Costantino as he achieved a career-best second place at The Open Championship. Plus, at the Ryder Cup, he made history by scoring a remarkable hole in one that helped Europe secure the famous trophy.
