David James MBE
One of England’s most famous goalkeepers, David James had a stellar career in professional football representing Liverpool, Manchester City, West Ham, Aston Villa and more over the course of 26 years. Playing more than 800 professional matches including spells in Iceland and India, he won the League Cup with Liverpool in 1995 and FA Cup with Portsmouth in 2008. Since retiring from the game, he’s worked as a popular TV pundit and one of the greatest football speakers around. David’s career began in 1988 when he made his debut for Watford against Millwall.
