As well as becoming a TEDX speaker, she has won the ‘Mo Mowlam Award’ and ‘Inspiring Others’ awards at the Redcar & Clevland Inspiring Women Awards in 2023. In addition, she also won the ‘Alumni Volunteer of the Year’ award at Teesside University in 2024.
