Mark’s career in Formula 1 began in 1986, working as a media consultant for sponsors within the sport as well as companies looking to join. In 1991, Mark joined Eddie Jordan’s new team, Jordan Grand Prix working as the team’s press officer. From here, he went on to work for numerous Formula 1 teams as an executive in a variety of roles. This included Pacific Racing, and Jaguar Racing (which later went on to become Red Bull Racing) and he also made a return to Jordan as Head of Marketing in 1998.
