Mark Nicholas
A former professional cricketer who now works as an accomplished broadcaster, Mark Nicholas is best known for his work for Sky Sports and Channel 4. One of the most knowledgeable cricket personalities in the country, the former Hampshire captain is also one of the most popular cricket after-dinner speakers around. Prior to his broadcasting career, Mark was a talented middle-order batsman and sometimes dabbled in medium-paced bowling. Making his debut for Hampshire in 1978, he went on to play for the team for 17 years including spending time as captain. Upon retiring in 1995, he made the transition into broadcasting.
