A former Liverpool, Manchester City and England forward, Robbie Fowler is one of the greatest strikers in Premier League history whose goal tally of 163 goals means he is eighth on the league’s all-time top scorers list.
While best known for his time at Liverpool where he won a whole host of trophies, he also represented Leeds, Cardiff and Blackburn Rovers as well as spending time abroad. A scouser born and bred, despite supporting Liverpool’s Merseyside rivals Everton in his youth, he joined Liverpool’s academy and made his debut for the Reds in 1993. Shortly after, he scored five goals against the same opposition, and in 1995 he scored, at the time, the fastest hattrick in Premier League history against Arsenal, writing his name into Premier League folklore.
Nicknamed ‘God’ by Liverpool fans, in total he won the FA Cup, two League Cups, the UEFA Cup and the UEFA Super Cup. In 2001 he moved to Leeds, before a spell with Manchester City but in 2006 he was back at the club where his heart remained.
