His passion and dedication to this role caught the attention of the UN, and he was brought on board by the organisation to discuss issues surrounding hate speech (both in society and online), how lawyers should fight hate crimes and how to create a more equal world for everyone.
In 2018, Asif joined the famous newspaper group The Telegraph as Head of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging. In this role, he helped diversify the journalistic approach within the entire organisation, helping the publication to better represent the voices of all those in modern Britain. In his capacity as one of the country’s best diversity keynote speakers, he’s able to explain to audiences how he approaches these roles and his vision for Britain’s diversity in the future.
