Mary Earps is a professional English footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for the England women’s team.
What are Mary Earps’s main achievements?
At 29 years old, Mary has achieved over 150 appearances in the top leagues of England and Germany, in almost 15 years of professional service.
In 2019, she was named in the FIFA women’s World Cup squad, where England placed a respectable fourth. Subsequently, she then became the first-choice goalkeeper for England’s UEFA women’s Euro 2022 team.

During an adrenaline-filled summer, Mary made history with her game-changing saves as England went on to lift the Euro 2022 trophy in front of a sold-out Wembley crowd.
Her incredible performance in this competition saw her named the goalkeeper of the tournament. Following the team’s success, they received the ‘Inspiration Awards’ at the 2022 Pride Awards.
Mary was part of the England Women’s team that reached the 2023 World Cup Final in Australia and famously saved a penalty. She capped off a successful 2023 being awarded with The BBC’s Sports Personality of the Year at a star-packed ceremony.
