Sam Torrance and BoyleSports
Ireland’s biggest independent bookmaker, BoyleSports, was searching for a golfing legend to help promote the European Tour’s finale event, the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai. Evolve provided the bookies with 21 time European Tour winner and Scottish golfing icon Sam Torrance for this role. Sam chatted to a whole host of media platforms, both broadcast and print, about the event offering his expert insight on a number of golf topics.
When bookmakers BoyleSports were looking for a legendary golfer to provide insight on the European Tour’s end-of-year DP World Tour Championship in Dubai, the team at Evolve knew exactly who to call upon. We partnered the brand with 21-time European Tour winner and four-time Ryder Cup winner Sam Torrance.
Over the course of his career, Sam established himself as one of the Tour’s greatest-ever players and helped make history by being part of the European team that won the Ryder Cup for the first time ever in 1985.
As part of this role, Sam spoke with a number of media outlets including TalkSport, The Scotsman, Golf Magic and Golf Shake. As well as highlighting the DP World Tour Championship and BoyleSports’ great offers on the event, he discussed a whole host of topical issues currently affecting the sport such as Tiger Woods’ potential comeback, the European Tour’s rebrand and the rise of Bryson DeChambeau.
