Stuart Broad is a former professional cricket player for Nottinghamshire and England.
What are Stuart Broad’s main achievements?
Stuart became England’s second bowler to reach 500 Test wickets. This was during his 140th Test match on the fifth day of the third Test against West Indies at Emirates Old Trafford in July 2020. Only six other bowlers in history have taken more wickets than Stuart, and he is part of an elite team of players who have taken over 600 wickets in test match cricket.
What is Stuart Broad best known for?
Stuart has taken two Test hat-tricks in his career, against India in 2011 and Sri Lanka in 2014. He is perhaps best known however for the 8-15 he took to bowl out Australia for 60 at Trent Bridge in 2015. Stuart is also famed for his ability to take clusters of wickets, taking five in an innings 17 times.
Stuart closed his career with a total of 604 Test wickets and 3,662 Test runs, including one century and thirteen half-centuries. He has also written two books, Broadside, and My World in Cricket.
